With great excitement, I’m thrilled to inform you that on February 20, 2025, the biggest update to the The Smartestway app so far has begun, and it will be rolled out gradually. This upgrade is not just a step forward – it’s a leap into the future. We have designed a completely new way to learn, track learning progress, and access content. This update will help you prepare even more effectively for exam and motivate you to achieve the highest grades!
I. New foundations: Simplified learning in smaller steps
1. Learning units for faster and more focused studying
Learning units represent the smallest learning blocks you need to complete to make minimal progress in your studying and exam preparation. They help you stay focused and improve preparation because they are:
Small and manageable: Each learning unit contains up to 10 interactive tasks, meaning one learning session takes just a few minutes.
Comprehensive: After completing each learning unit, you immediately repeat tasks where you made mistakes, reinforcing your knowledge.
Informative: After each unit, you find out how well you performed, how much time you spent, and how much more you need to master the entire note’s content.
You start learning with just one click – select the difficulty level and learning tool. The app then guides you through the learning units automatically, without skipping or unnecessary complexity.
2. Three difficulty levels tailored to your needs
Each level allows you to adjust the difficulty and the amount of material you want to cover in learning units.
- BEGINNER
Cover only 1/3 of the material – great if you love shortcuts, prefer easier tasks, and aim for high grades even without full mastery. Repeat the game three times if you still want to cover the full material. - EXPLORER
Cover 2/3 of the content – perfect for a balanced approach between speed and difficulty. The tasks are more challenging and provide better preparation. You see the full content after two repetitions. - EXPERT
Cover all the material at once – ideal for full control and top-level preparation. With the most challenging tasks, you save time and prepare well for difficult challenges. You cover the entire material in the first repetition, and additional ones ensure 100% readiness.

II. Updated learning tools: Interactivity at every step
With the app structure update, we have unified the functioning of all learning tools, making it easier for you to track your progress. In addition to Smart Cards and the Speed Learning game, we have added Interactive Tasks, which are now a key part of learning units but can also be used independently.
1. Interactive tasks: A new dimension of learning
Interactive tasks are the core of the new system. They make learning more fun and diverse while allowing you to choose from three difficulty levels.

2. Flashcards (previously Smart Cards): Faster and more connected
Instead of self-assessment, you first go through three cards and then solve interactive tasks. This way, you reinforce the material more systematically.

3. Speed Reading (previously Speed Reading game): Added controls
You still focus on the key points with speed reading, but now you can also pause if something distracts you. Continue when you're ready again. After reading, an interactive task awaits to check your understanding.

III. Revamped note content view
Along with the updated learning method, visual improvements and new tools are coming:

Because we want to provide you with the best user experience and effective learning with all the new features described above, all your notes will be automatically adjusted.

- Your content will not be lost, only reformatted for the new functionalities.
- Only manually edited or added parts may be missing.
